Overview In this role, you lead strategic purchasing and commodity management to secure a competitive, sustainable supply base. You partner with Operations, Engineering, Finance, Quality, and Commercial teams to support objectives, deliver cost savings, and drive continuous improvement. You'll influence design-to-cost decisions, oversee supplier relationships, and advance global sourcing strategies while ensuring governance and ethics.

You will shape a high‐performing team and deliver measurable cost and supply benefits in a dynamic manufacturing context.

Responsabilidades Lead strategic purchasing and commodity strategies to meet short- and long-term objectives Negotiate supplier agreements and drive year-over-year cost improvements and total landed cost reductions Ensure cost-effective procurement and timely delivery of raw materials, components, and services Drive total cost management across sourcing and day-to-day purchasing decisions Support global and regional sourcing strategies considering local market conditions Monitor market trends, supplier risk, and capacity to ensure supply continuity Lead supplier relationship management,



including escalations and performance improvements Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Program Management, Quality, and Finance Support early involvement in new product development to influence design-to-cost decisions Develop and implement cost-saving and material harmonization initiatives Ensure compliance with corporate policies, ethics, and procurement governance standards Mentor and develop purchasing team members to build a high-performing organization Requisitos principales Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field 5–10 years of relevant purchasing, commodity management, or supply chain experience Automotive or industrial manufacturing experience preferred Strong understanding of commodity cost drivers and supply chain principles Experience working in cross-functional and multicultural environments Strong negotiation and influencing skills Excellent business acumen and analytical capability Leadership and team development skills Negotiation and supplier management Cost reduction and total landed cost optimization General/regional sourcing strategies
