About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join an international and multicultural engineering team working on innovative software solutions within the robotics and industrial automation sector .

You will be part of a integral development environment, collaborating with teams across different countries and contributing to the continuous evolution of complex software products.

This is a hands-on technical role with the opportunity to have an impact not only on the product, but also on engineering standards, development practices and the growth of other team members .

Your responsibilities

- Contribute significantly to the development and evolution of software products , ensuring scalable, robust and maintainable solutions.
- Set an example in software engineering best practices, including performance, security, testability and code quality .
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to automated testing practices.
- Lead or contribute to technical analysis and help translate complex requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Participate throughout the complete product lifecycle, from requirements analysis and implementation strategy to deployment and production support.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams and other engineering functions.
- Proactively contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and ways of working .
- Mentor and support junior and mid-level developers , providing hands-on technical guidance and feedback.




- Share technical knowledge and contribute to the definition of coding standards and engineering best practices .
- Take initiative to improve the team's technical capabilities, tools and development environment.

Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience developing software products.
- Degree in Computer Science, Informatics or a related field , or equivalent professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and commitment to code quality.
- Ability to work autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
- Strong interest in learning new technologies and challenging existing approaches.
- Professional proficiency in English .
- Experience working with Agile methodologies is a plus.

Technical background Experience with any of the following technologies or areas will be considered a plus:

- Graph-based mathematics
- Software emulation or simulation
- UI performance optimisation
- Industrial automation
- Robotics
- Intralogistics / warehouse automation
- Material handling technologies
