Overview In this role you contribute to Emburse's engineering and product development efforts, delivering scalable software that enhances user experiences in corporate expense management. You work with cross-functional partners to translate requirements into robust solutions and mentor junior teammates to raise the overall coding standard. You will navigate agile processes, code reviews, and system design discussions to drive quality and impact.

Responsabilidades Lead and contribute to software development with minimal supervision

Mentor and onboard junior developers

Participate in design sessions and code reviews

Develop and maintain robust APIs and documentation

Follow SDLC with agile practices and DevOps collaboration





Fix complex bugs and perform advanced debugging

Engage with product, analytics, and stakeholders to align requirements

Communicate complex concepts effectively to junior staff

Requisitos principales 6+ years of professional Java development experience

Experience with OS X/Linux, Spring, AWS, Microservices, SQL/NoSQL, Git

Scrum and DevOps environment experience

Designing REST/JSON services and working with third-party APIs

Docker or container experience, large-scale distributed apps

Test Driven Development and functional testing

Proficiency in at least one OOP language and React/JS ecosystem

IOS/Android development experience

Bilingual English and Spanish preferred

Empathy for users

Mentoring and leadership of junior developers

Effective communication of complex concepts
