Overview

Senior Solution Buyer to lead purchasing strategy for a major program within Schneider Electric's Europe Multisegment Solution center. You will drive supplier selection, cost reduction, and contract negotiations, while ensuring regulatory and safety standards. The role sits at the center of a high-impact, multi-technical project portfolio and requires close collaboration with engineering, quality, and project teams.

Responsabilidades Define and deploy purchasing strategy for product and service families tied to the program

Drive cost reduction through value engineering, supplier changes, and negotiations

Manage strategic supplier relationships including contract negotiations and delivery terms

Ensure regulatory, contractual compliance with standards and customer requirements





Participate in upstream project phases to embed purchasing strategy at design stage

Assess and mitigate supply chain risks via audits and contingency plans

Contribute to purchasing database and KPI monitoring (cost, quality, deadlines, safety)

Secure long-term external procurement through framework contracts and sustainable strategies

Report purchasing KPIs and supplier performance to management

Requisitos principales 5 to 8 years in strategic purchasing in a complex industrial environment (energy, oil & gas)

Education: Bac+5 in Purchasing, Engineering, or equivalent

Mastery of ERP tools (SAP) and negotiation techniques

Cost analysis, risk management, and contractualization

Spanish and English fluent; French optional

Willingness to travel up to 25%

Experience with tendering and supplier relationship management

Leadership in a matrix environment
