Overview In this role you will own the performance of service contracts across Southern Europe, translating contracts into operational delivery and ongoing improvements. You will work with customers, service teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure commitments are met and value is delivered. The position blends operations leadership with commercial insight to drive customer success in a integral, automation-focused environment.

You will lead projects, monitor KPIs, and promote safety and reliability to strengthen long-term partnerships.

Responsabilidades

Lead operational delivery of service and maintenance contracts to meet service levels, performance targets, and obligations

Coordinate maintenance activities, resources, suppliers, and subcontractors for safe, efficient work

Serve as primary operational contact for contract matters, performance discussions, and escalations

Monitor contract performance via KPIs and data; identify efficiency, reliability, and satisfaction improvements

Manage contract budgets (labor, materials, parts, external costs) and support financial health

Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and long-term customer value

Lead small retrofit, modernization, and replacement projects from planning to execution

Prepare and present operational/performance reports with insights and recommendations

Collaborate with internal service teams, engineering, procurement,



and HSE to ensure delivery

Promote safety culture and ensure compliance with regulations and Vanderlande standards

Identify opportunities for contract growth, service improvements, and modernization, translating needs into value

Contribute to service sales objectives by supporting contract renewals and expanding the service portfolio

Requisitos principales Bachelor in Engineering

Experience in service management or service contract management

Understanding of service operations, maintenance execution, and contract delivery

Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive, customer-focused approach

Experience in automated handling systems, capital goods, industrial automation, logistics, or system integration

Experience working with third-party service providers and subcontractors

Knowledge of service contracts and commercial agreements (advantage)

Strong project management and organizational skills

Financial awareness and experience managing operational budgets

Ability to analyze data, KPIs, and performance metrics

Fluent in English (written and spoken)

Willingness to travel domestically and internationally

Strong focus on customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and team development

Strong commercial awareness with ability to translate needs into service opportunities
