Are you studying logistics, international trade, engineering or a related field, and looking for an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in international project logistics?

At CHINT, we are looking for a T&D; Logistics Intern to join our team in Las Rozas, Madrid. This is a great opportunity to learn how complex logistics operations are planned and coordinated, supporting the transport of power transformers and high-voltage equipment from manufacturing facilities in China to project sites across Europe.

You will work closely with the T&D; Logistics team, internal project stakeholders and external logistics providers, gaining practical exposure to multimodal transport, customs, port operations, special road transport and project-site deliveries.

What you will learn and support?

- Supporting the review of transport drawings, cargo specifications and site information.
- Assisting with requests for quotations, quotation comparisons, preliminary budgets and logistics schedules.
- Supporting the coordination and follow-up of international project cargo shipments.
- Monitoring activities from factory readiness in China through ocean freight, customs clearance, port handling, inland transport and final delivery.
- Maintaining project trackers, logistics documentation and shipment records.
- Coordinating information with internal teams, suppliers and logistics partners.
- Helping to identify potential delays, additional costs and operational risks.
- Supporting route surveys, transport permits, site-access requirements and HSE documentation.
- Assisting with unloading, cranes, jacking, skidding and final positioning activities.
- Supporting aftersales logistics, including replacement materials, missing or damaged items, additional transport and claims.




- Contributing to cost control, reporting, lessons learned and continuous-improvement initiatives.

You will receive guidance and support from the amazing woman that is responsible for T&D; Logistics while developing a broader understanding of the full project logistics cycle.

We are looking for you!

Apply to this opportunity if:

- You are currently studying, or have recently completed, a degree in Logistics, Transport Management, International Trade, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- You have a genuine interest in international transport, maritime logistics, project cargo or heavy-lift operations.
- You are comfortable using Excel to prepare comparisons, trackers and reports.
- Knowledge of SAP or another ERP system would be an advantage.
- You have some familiarity with Incoterms, customs procedures, transport documentation or multimodal transport.
- The ability to understand cargo dimensions, weights, packing lists or transport drawings would be valuable.
- You have a good level of English and native-level Spanish - That's a must! Part of the team is based in China, and they will be key for your development.
- Knowledge of additional European languages or Chinese would be an advantage.
- You are organised, analytical, proactive and willing to learn.




- You enjoy working with different teams and external partners.
- You are comfortable working with deadlines and managing several activities at the same time.
- You have a customer-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
- Essential requirement: You must be eligible to sign an official internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) with a university or educational institution.
