For the right person, this can be structured as a sole CEO mandate.The businessA profitable, cash-generative B2B distributor of construction-related technical products. Revenue in the higher double-digit millions, around 150+ employees, and a nationwide network of branches across Spain. Following a carve-out, the company operates independently and already has largely stand-alone functions in place.This is a business with a solid foundation and clear headroom, not a fire-fight, but a genuine value-creation play where an experienced operator can leave a real fingerprint.Why this role- Full P&L ownership and a direct line to the shareholder, decisions get made, not committee'd to death.- A healthy, cash-generative base to build on, with tangible levers already identified.- The autonomy of a standalone platform, backed by an investor focused on operational value creation.- The opportunity to shape the leadership team and the transformation roadmap from day one.The mandate- Lead the value-creation agenda operationally,



on the ground in Spain- Own liquidity and cash transparency- Build clear KPI and reporting structures- Optimise the branch network, cost base and product range / SKUs, and assess selective new openings- Improve procurement, gross and commercial margins- Drive sustainable EBITDA and margin improvement, and working capital discipline- Partner closely with the shareholder on the transformation roadmapThis is explicitly an operational leadership role — not a board-only or advisory seat.The person we're looking for- A proven operator from distribution, trade, building-materials distribution or construction-related industries- Leadership experience across multi-site / branch-network structures- A demonstrable turnaround, transformation or performance-improvement track record- Strong financial command (P&L, cash flow, working capital) — comfortable driving numbers, not just reviewing them- Willing to be highly present in Spain- Close to Native-level Spanish and strong English are essential- Place of residence flexibleIdeal background- Former Managing Director / CEO of a PE portfolio company- Experience delivering value-creation plans in a private equity environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
