You will play a key role in ensuring business continuity, reliable service, and strong logistics performance across international markets.Working closely with couriers, manufacturing sites, customs and trade experts, and local teams, you will monitor international shipments, manage escalations, drive KPI and exception management, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement. In this role, you will help establish scalable logistics governance that supports the sustainable growth of the business.Your workplace will be in Madrid.Your responsibilities:Act as the main logistics partner for Ortho and own the end-to-end transportation and distribution process, from manufacturing handover through customs clearance and delivery follow-upOwn courier OTIF, lead time, and logistics cost performance through reporting, root-cause analysis,



and corrective actionsWork with the Logistics Control Tower (LCT) team to monitor shipments and coordinate resolution with carriers, plants, customer care, customs, procurement, and local teamsManage customs and trade-related issues with the relevant stakeholders, ensuring timely documentation, escalation, and closureReview service provider performance, participate in QBRs, and partner with Logistics Procurement on service, compliance, and cost improvementsEnsure billing, invoicing, claims, ticket follow-up, and contractual terms with couriers and logistics providers are properly managedLead or support logistics workstreams such as transport setup changes, new lanes, service model adjustments, and contingency planningStrengthen governance, simplify escalation routines, improve KPI visibility, and standardize ways of working across the Ortho logistics modelPartner with Production, Customer Care, subsidiaries, and the wider Ortho network to resolve customer-impacting issues involving logisticsAct as the connection point into the wider GLD organization and align with adjacent supply chain teams when required, while keeping logistics as the core focus of the roleYour profile:Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain,



Logistics, International Trade, Business Administration, Engineering, or a comparable fieldExtensive relevant experience in logistics, transportation, distribution, or supply chain operations, ideally in an international matrix environmentStrong experience balancing strategic ownership with hands-on execution in carrier management, KPI tracking, exception handling, and cross-functional coordinationSolid exposure to customs, trade, and international shipment flows; courier / expressnetwork experience is a strong advantageExperience driving process improvement, governance, and operational discipline in complex or evolving business environmentsGood knowledge of international transportation, customs, trade compliance, and distribution processes, continuous improvement or project management training is an advantageStrong Excel skills and confidence working with operational data, dashboards, and shipment visibility toolsWhat makes you a great fit:You demonstrate strong ownership and business partnering skills while staying close to operational realitiesYou are structured, analytical, and process-oriented, with strong prioritization and follow-throughYou are a strong coordinator and communicator who can align stakeholders and challenge constructivelyYou are customer-focused and resilient, and feel comfortable working under pressure and navigating ambiguityYou are fluent in English.
