NeuroMedia is looking for an Account Manager with a strong analytical mindset, a solid understanding of advertising intelligence and media monitoring, and a genuine interest in technology and the future of advertising.
This is not a traditional sales-oriented Account Manager position.
We're looking for someone who understands how advertising data is produced, analyzed and used by advertisers, media agencies and research teams. Someone who can speak the same language as our clients' analysts, understand the questions behind the numbers, and translate their needs into clear requirements for our product and technical teams.
But we're also looking for someone who looks ahead.
Advertising and media are changing rapidly. Digital platforms have already transformed the market, and AI, conversational interfaces, new content formats and new distribution models will continue to create advertising channels and measurement challenges that may not even exist today.
We want someone who is curious about these changes, learns quickly, and can help our clients understand and embrace them.
Your role
You will be one of the key links between our clients and the teams building and operating our advertising intelligence solutions.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Build strong, long-term relationships with clients and develop a deep understanding of their business, analytical workflows and objectives.
- Support clients in their use and understanding of our advertising monitoring data, tools and methodologies.
- Understand how clients analyze advertising spend, market activity, advertisers, brands, campaigns and media performance, and help them get the most value from our data.
- Analyze client requests and identify the underlying business or analytical need rather than simply forwarding requirements.
- Translate client needs into clear and actionable requirements for product, data and development teams.
- Act as an interface between business users and technical teams, translating business concepts into technical requirements and technical constraints into understandable client communication.
- Investigate client questions and data issues, working with operational and technical teams to identify their origin and coordinate appropriate responses.
- Monitor recurring client feedback and identify opportunities to improve our products, data and processes.
- Participate actively in product discussions and help shape developments based on real client use cases and emerging market needs.
- Contribute to maintaining a high level of data quality, consistency and reliability.
- Develop a strong understanding of our data production processes and methodologies in order to explain them clearly to clients.
- Follow technological and market developments and assess how they may affect advertising intelligence and measurement.
- Help clients understand and prepare for new advertising environments, data sources and measurement challenges, from today's digital platforms to emerging channels such as AI assistants and conversational interfaces.
- Bring new ideas to the team and challenge existing approaches when technology creates better ways of solving a problem.
A forward-looking mindset
This part is particularly important to us.
The media intelligence industry cannot limit itself to measuring yesterday's media landscape.
Tomorrow's advertising may increasingly appear in environments that are difficult to monitor using traditional approaches: digital ecosystems, connected devices, streaming platforms, AI-generated content, conversational assistants such as ChatGPT, and channels that have yet to emerge.
You don't need to know today exactly how all of these environments will evolve. Nobody does.
What matters is that you are naturally curious, comfortable with change and able to learn quickly.
You should enjoy exploring new technologies, understanding how they work, asking what they mean for our industry, and turning that understanding into practical ideas for our products and our clients.
Part of your role will be to help clients navigate that evolution rather than simply react to it.
Who we're looking for
We're particularly interested in candidates with previous experience in advertising monitoring, advertising intelligence, media intelligence, media agencies, market research, media planning or advertising analytics.
You might currently be working as an Advertising/Media Analyst, Research Analyst, Media Planner, Data Analyst, Account Manager, Client Service Manager or Advertising Intelligence Specialist.
The exact job title matters less than your understanding of the industry and your ability to learn.
You should:
- Have a strong analytical mindset and be comfortable working with data.
- Understand how advertising spend and media monitoring data are used by agencies, advertisers and analysts.
- Be able to interpret data and identify inconsistencies, unusual results or potential quality issues.
- Be able to turn sometimes complex or loosely defined client requests into structured requirements.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Be comfortable communicating with both business users and technical teams.
- Be highly comfortable with computers and technology in general.
- Be a fast learner who enjoys discovering and experimenting with new tools and technologies.
- Have a genuine interest in digital media, AI, data and emerging technologies.
- Be capable of understanding technical concepts without necessarily being a developer.
- Be curious about where advertising and media measurement are going, not only how they work today.
- Have strong problem-solving skills and be able to work autonomously while collaborating closely with a team.
- Be organized and capable of managing several client topics simultaneously.
- Be fluent in French or Dutch, with a good command of the other language being a strong asset.
- Have a good professional command of English.
- Be based in Belgium. Hybrid work is possible.
Experience with Excel, BI tools, data visualization, databases, APIs or other data-analysis tools is an advantage. Experience experimenting with AI tools or other emerging technologies is also welcome.
You do not need to be a developer. But technology should be something you are curious about and comfortable exploring, not something you avoid.
