Knitwear Designer – Womenswear / Menswear / Childrenswear

Location: Barcelona or A Coruña, SpainEmployment Type: Full-time or Part-time

We are looking for a creative, commercially minded established Knitwear Designer to develop customer-focused collections, with a particular emphasis on yarn expertise.

Key Responsibilities- Develop knitwear designs and collections tailored to customers’ brand identities, briefs and target prices.- Select yarns, colours, stitches and knit structures, balancing design, quality and cost.- Attend customer meetings to present concepts, yarn options and samples, and translate feedback into product development.- Prepare design specifications and technical packs, working closely with factories throughout sampling and revisions.

Requirements- Experience in knitwear design across womenswear,



menswear or childrenswear.- Strong knowledge of yarn compositions, counts, properties and suitability for different knitting techniques.- Good understanding of knitwear construction and manufacturing processes.- Confident communication and presentation skills, with experience working directly with customers.- Professional working proficiency in English; Spanish is a plus.- Available to attend customer meetings in Barcelona or A Coruña as agreed.
