Job Description:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer – Windows, you are responsible for the management and monitoring of Windows-based systems. You actively contribute to improving the security and hardening of systems.

DevOps Windows Responsibilities

Design and implement appropriate and innovative solutions for the technical infrastructure that meet the needs of the service.

Contribute to the operational management of the infrastructure to ensure service continuity.

Coordinate activities to ensure that infrastructure projects are carried out optimally.

Monitor the technical infrastructure so that it can evolve.

Define, prepare and implement documentation and procedures relating to the technical infrastructure to ensure optimal management and maintenance.

Participate in further building the team's knowledge so that expertise continues to develop and the quality of the service delivered is optimized.

Lead projects, advise on best practices, mentor junior engineers and collaborate with other teams to optimize DevOps processes.

Experience You Bring

At least 10 years of experience as a Windows DevOps Engineer.

Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows, including workstation and server editions. Certification is a plus.

Good knowledge of storage, networking and cybersecurity.

Experience with auditing and hardening Windows systems.

Good knowledge of virtualization, particularly VMware. Container technologies such as Docker and Podman are a plus.

Knowledge of backup and restore technologies.

Knowledge of AD and user management, Exchange, DFS,



SCCM, Git, GitLab, PowerShell/Shell scripting and Event Viewer.

Proficiency with monitoring tools and log analysis, including the ELK Stack.

Experience with automatically maintaining an up-to-date inventory.

Strong ability to diagnose complex system problems, perform performance tuning and implement high-availability solutions.

Good knowledge of DevOps principles and working methods.

Knowledge of IT Service Management (ITIL v4 Foundation).

Results-oriented with a high sense of responsibility.

Customer-focused with strong interpersonal skills.

Work Context

You have Belgian nationality.

You speak French or Dutch as your main language, with at least a basic knowledge of the other language and English.

You have a strong sense of responsibility and remain discreet about your work.

You already hold a security clearance at the level of “Top Secret” or agree to obtain one (i.e., agree to undergo a security investigation). There is no cost to you.

Important Working Conditions

Remote work is not possible.

You must work on-site in Brussels 5 days a week.

The workplace is within walking distance of Brussels-North station.
