We are seeking a skilled and motivated Direct Tax Manager to join our integral tax team. In this role, you will be responsible for direct tax operations, ensuring full compliance, accurate tax filings, and robust financial reporting across corporate direct tax matters. You will serve as the subject matter expert on direct tax laws, working closely with finance and external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

Tax Compliance & Advisory
- Oversee all corporate direct tax compliance activities, ensuring adherence to local and international tax regulations.

Tax Filings
- Manage the end-to-end preparation, review, and timely submission of corporate income tax returns, estimated tax payments, and extensions.

Financial Reporting
- Manage the local statutory direct tax reporting process, including calculating local tax provisions, deferred tax assets/liabilities, and statutory tax disclosures in accordance with local GAAP.

Audit & Controversy
- Manage inquiries, notices,



and assessments related to direct tax filings.

Process Improvement
- Continuously optimize tax compliance workflows, tax data collection processes, and software integration to improve team efficiency.
- Oversee the preparation, review, and timely filing of direct tax returns.

Business Partnership
- Provide clear and practical tax advice to internal business units, including Legal, Procurement, and Sales, regarding new product launches, business models, and geographic expansion.
- Identify risks and potential tax optimization opportunities.

Governance & Controls
- Maintain and update internal tax compliance policies, standard operating procedures, and control documentation.

What We're Looking For

Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of corporate direct tax experience.
- Professional certification preferred (CTA, Chartered Accountant, CPA, or equivalent qualification).
- CPA or Master's in Taxation (MST) strongly p
