To serve as the primary legal authority and strategic business partner for Europcar Mobility Group across Spain and Portugal. In this role, you will lead the Iberian legal function, balancing risk management with commercial agility to protect the business, oversee high-stakes public tenders, and align local legal operations with integral Group directives.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Business Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to the Iberian Executive Team and Group General Counsel, providing pragmatic, risk-calibrated counsel to support growth across both brands.
- Public Tenders & Commercial Contracts: Lead legal strategy for major public procurement processes, including airport (AENA, ANA) and railway (Adif, IP) concessions. Direct negotiation of fleet, tech, and supplier agreements.
- Compliance, Data Protection & Consumer Law: Maintain a strong compliance framework (GDPR/RGPD, Ethics/Whistleblowing) acting as local legal lead. Ensure strict adherence to sector regulations, ITV, insurance, and consumer protection laws.
- Litigation & Dispute Resolution: Manage all civil,



administrative, regulatory, and criminal proceedings across Spain and Portugal, providing accurate risk reporting to the CFO and Group.
- Corporate Governance: Oversee corporate housekeeping for all Iberian legal entities (board minutes, powers of attorney, notary, and registry filings).
- Team Leadership & External Counsel: Direct and develop the Legal Specialist Iberia. Manage external law firms (with focus on Portuguese legal coverage) for quality and cost-efficiency.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Education & Bar Admission: Law Degree (Degree in Law / Licenciatura en Derecho) and active Bar Admission (Colegio de Abogados). A Master's in Business Law, EU Law, or MBA is highly valued.
- Experience: 10-15 years of progressive legal experience (top-tier law firm and/or in-house), with at least 3-5 years in a senior legal leadership role within an international corporate environment.
