About The Role
As Whitewater Group continues to expand internationally across multiple markets, we are seeking a Junior Cost Controller to support the financial and commercial control of our projects across a range of construction and critical infrastructure environments.
This role will support the monitoring and recording of project costs, tracking budgets and preparing accurate cost information throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project Managers, Operations, Procurement, and the wider Commercial team, the successful candidate will help ensure that project costs are accurately recorded, invoices and commitments are tracked, and any changes or variances are identified and reported.
The Junior Cost Controller will also assist with the preparation of regular cost reports, forecasts and financial information, helping the wider project and commercial teams maintain visibility of project performance and margins.
The role will provide exposure to project cost control, budget management, forecasting, cashflow and supplier payments,

Main Duties And Responsibilities
- Liaise with Project Managers and the Operations team to support commercial, financial and contractual matters on site.
- Interact with clients through emails, calls and site meetings in a professional and clear manner, and draft formal communications.
- Monitor the project budget, track monthly changes and costs, and support project margin control.
- Understand payment terms and support the timely issuance of valuations, supplier payments and protection of project cashflow.
- Record equipment and materials held in warehouses, take photographs and prepare vesting reports. Travel tofactories as required.
