Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a7.5 tonne delivery vehicle in accordance with UK road traffic laws and company policies.
- Complete scheduled deliveries and collections efficiently and on time.
- Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled safely and securely.
- Carry heavy and bulky items, including lifting, moving, and delivering products to customer premises where required.
- Conduct daily vehicle safety checks and report any defects or maintenance issues.
- Plan delivery routes to maximise efficiency and minimise delays.
- Provide a professional, friendly, and courteous service to customers.
- Maintain the cleanliness,



security, and condition of the vehicle.
- Follow all company health and safety procedures, including safe manual handling practices.
- Ensure goods are secured correctly during transportation.
- Comply with all applicable drivers' hours, tachograph, and working-time requirements.

Essential Requirements
- Full UK driving licence with the appropriate entitlement to drive a 7.5 tonne vehicle (Category C1).
- Valid Driver CPC qualification, where required.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Driver Card, where required.
- Clean or acceptable driving record.
- Good knowledge of UK road safety regulations and drivers' hours requirements.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and capable of repeatedly lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling heavy items throughout the working day.
