Job Description -Manage and coordinate direct and indirect tax compliance across Tanzania and assigned East African entities, ensuring accurate and timely filings and payments,-Provide practical tax advice to Finance and operational teams on corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax, payroll-related taxes and other local tax matters,-Monitor local tax developments, identify potential risks and opportunities, and ensure timely escalation of material matters to Group Tax,-Coordinate relationships with tax authorities and external advisers, including tax audits, assessments, information requests and disputes,-Maintain robust tax documentation, compliance calendars and reporting,



ensuring adherence to local regulations and Group standards,-Support the implementation of Group transfer pricing policies, including intercompany transactions, documentation and related tax matters,-Contribute to the internalisation and continuous improvement of tax compliance processes, as well as wider regional and Group Tax initiatives. The Successful ApplicantThe successful candidate will have a strong tax background with hands-on experience in Tanzanian taxation, ideally combined with exposure to other East African jurisdictions.
