In this role you will drive the dual-use strategy by turning disruptive digital technologies into strategic, market-ready solutions. You will shape R&D;&I; projects that boost industrial competitiveness and technological sovereignty, working with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders. You will lead the full sales and pre-sales cycle and represent i2CAT at innovation forums to position the center as a partner for sovereign tech. This is a chance to shape a national and international agenda while translating cutting-edge research into commercial impact.

~ Identify and pursue opportunities in the dual-use domain bridging civil and defense sectors
~ Lead the complete sales and pre-sales cycle from needs discovery to proposal defense
~ Define the roadmap for the dual-use sector aligning capabilities with market needs
~ Manage relationships with corporate industries, tech SMEs and public organizations




~ Represent i2CAT at innovation and business forums to position it as a partner for sovereign technologies
~ Collaborate with research teams to translate R&D; into market-ready products and services
~ Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
~ Minimum 5 years in business development, strategic consulting, or innovation management
~ Solid understanding of 5G/6G architectures, AI, and cybersecurity
~ Advanced English (C1) and Spanish
~ Catalan professional proficiency (spoken/written)
~ Spanish nationality and European origin for security clearance in the Dual-Use sector
~ Critical thinking and proactivity
~ Strategic communication and negotiation
