We are looking for an Senior Engineering Manager to join and lead 2 Engineering Squads in the Player Experience area, which will own one of the most critical parts of the Sports Betting customer journey. You will build the team from scratch, develop its people and ensure technical excellence, working in close cross-functional collaboration with other teams in Super such as Product Design, Data and QA.
Hire and lead a team of engineers, with tech leads, software engineers and QAs reporting directly to you
Ensure growth and development opportunities for all team members, including coaching and mentoring, identifying and removing roadblocks and distractions, running regular 1:1s and feedback sessions, and carrying out performance reviews for your direct reports
Nurture strong relationships with other engineering managers, technical leads and product managers
Support engineering department goals by setting team requirements, goals and timelines




Make technical and business decisions that ensure predictable delivery in terms of timelines, stability and performance
Build and maintain a culture of engineering excellence — we don't cut corners when it comes to quality and reliability
Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle
An advocate of servant leadership, taking a hands-on approach to engineering on a daily basis
Experience resolving complex engineering and communication issues
