The Spanish National Research Council (CSIC), in the framework of its JAE Programme, invites candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or a Higher Vocational Training qualification to express their interest in applying for a three-year Technical position (JAE-TEC) in the context of scientific and technical projects across all fields of knowledge.

The JAE Programme contemplates the training of technical staff who will acquire professional practice at CSIC's centers, institutes and Research Infrastructures throughout Spain, contributing to the Council's strategic goal of attracting and retaining scientific and technical talent.

Positions are offered under two professional categories, M1 (Higher Vocational Training) and M2 (Bachelor's degree), depending on the candidate's qualification. These positions cannot be assigned to centers' scientific-technical services, nor to administrative, communication or technology transfer tasks.

Your mission

To carry out technical support tasks within a specific research project, under the supervision of the assigned Principal Investigator, acquiring professional practice appropriate to the level of studies completed.

To follow the training activities programme established for the position.

Qualifications:

- JAE-TEC Group M2: A Bachelor's degree ("Grado"), Level 2 of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications, or equivalent.
- JAE-TEC Group M1: A Higher Vocational Training qualification ("Técnico Superior" / "Técnico Especialista"), Level 1 of the Spanish Framework for Higher Education Qualifications, or equivalent.

Languages:

English proficiency is recommended and positively valued in the selection process.

We Offer

- Incorporation no later than 15 December 2026 .
- Three-year Technical contract (JAE-TEC, Group M1 or M2), full-time, under Article 23 bis of Law 14/2011.
- Gross annual salary in accordance with CSIC's salary scales for technical staff (2026 figures), paid in 14 instalments:
- JAE-TEC Group M1: €22,274.14 gross per year
- JAE-TEC Group M2: €28,178.78 gross per year.
- Amounts are stated before tax and employee social security deductions, and are subject to future updates of CSIC's salary scales.
