Experteer Overview
As a Platform Engineer, you own the end-to-end CI/CD Kubernetes platform used by hundreds of developers. You manage a self-hosted GitHub Actions fleet on bare metal, ensuring fast builds, reliability, and cost control. You’ll shape capacity planning, incident response, and platform tooling to reduce queue wait times and build durations. This role blends hands-on operations with product-minded improvements to empower engineers across the company.

• Collaborate with product engineers to improve slow workflows
• Lead incident response and drive blameless postmortems to actionable guardrails
• Treat the platform as a product: gather user feedback and simplify paths for engineers
• Design and tune build caches and images (node-local overlay, caches, mirrors)
• Instrument the platform with metrics/logs/dashes and define targets
• Manage infrastructure as code (Terraform, GitOps with Flux/Argo CD, Kustomize, Helm)
• Provision and operate on bare metal and network across datacenter segments




• Operate and troubleshoot Linux, container runtimes, and kernel issues
• Participate in on-call duties and maintain runbooks and alerts
• Communicate clearly in written English; document what you build

Responsabilidades
• 5+ years running production infrastructure with Kubernetes at the core
• Deep Kubernetes knowledge: scheduling, limits, evictions, node pressure, DaemonSets, controllers
• Strong Linux and container fundamentals (containerd or Docker, cgroups, namespaces, storage, networking)
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code with attention to module design and state hygiene
• CI/CD at platform level: shared workflows, reusable templates, runner architecture
• Experience with GitHub Actions, including self-hosted runners
• Scripting for automation (Bash, Python or Go)
• Observability practices: metrics/logs/traces, dashboards; OpenTelemetry/Prometheus tooling
• Operational maturity: on-call, incident handling, postmortems, guardrails
• Capacity and cost awareness, fleet sizing, cost explanation
• Clear written English documentation skills
