Application Support / Cloud Operations Engineer (L1/L2)

We’re looking for an experienced Application Support / Cloud Operations Engineer to join a production operations team responsible for ensuring the stability, performance, and continuity of business-critical applications.

This role combines hands-on troubleshooting, incident management, and cross-team coordination in modern cloud environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide L1/L2 support for production applications (incident intake, triage, resolution)
- Monitor application health, availability, and performance
- Lead and coordinate incident resolution and major incidents
- Collaborate with platform, DevOps, and infrastructure teams
- Support production changes (validation, testing, rollback)
- Identify recurring issues and contribute to problem management
- Participate in release coordination and operational planning




- Maintain documentation and operational knowledge base

Technical Stack & Requirements

- Strong experience in production support / cloud operations
- Hands-on with:
- Cloud platforms: AWS and/or GCP
- Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes
- Infrastructure as Code: Terraform
- Version control: GitHub
- API Management: Apigee
- Messaging/Streaming: Kafka
- Experience with monitoring tools: Grafana, CloudWatch, GCP Monitoring, etc.
- Familiar with CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with ITIL / incident management processes
- ITSM tools (e.g. Jira Service Management)

Additional Notes

- On-call rotations (paid) are part of the role
- Strong ownership, communication, and problem-solving skills required
- Experience in high-availability environments is a must
