As an Operational Account Manager, you will be the central point for delivering and safeguarding service quality on key Air u0026amp; Sea accounts. You will align Operations and Product teams to meet targets, lead service reviews, and communicate disruptions and recovery plans to customers. You’ll drive continuous improvement with data-driven insights and support sales with upsell opportunities. This role sits at the heart of customer experience in a integral logistics provider, offering impact through process optimization and cross-functional collaboration.
Compensaciones / Beneficios
• Own service performance outcomes (on-time delivery, SLA adherence, data quality) for assigned accounts and align cross-functional teams around them
• Lead regular service huddles and review performance dashboards to identify risks
• Act as the customer's main point of contact during major service disruptions and communicate impact and recovery outlook
• Drive continuous improvement from recurring data issues to process redesign with BPM colleagues
• Prepare and support customer business reviews (QBRs) and provide data-driven input for upsell opportunities
• Be the customer's voice inside Hellmann and Hellmann's voice to the customer
Responsabilidades
• 7+ years of experience in international freight forwarding (Air/Sea) with ownership of strategic key accounts
• Experience building and rolling out standard operating procedures and handling exceptions
• Strong analytical skills with ability to turn data into actionable insights
• Familiarity with root-cause methods (5-Whys, fishbone, PDCA) is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and ability to influence in a matrix organization
• Proficiency with PowerBI and Excel; shipment visibility/tracking tools is a plus
• Bachelor in Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain (or equivalent experience); Lean/CI certification a plus
• Fluent English; additional proficiency in French, Spanish, or Chinese is a plus
• Willingness to travel approx. 10-25% for meetings and projects
