supervising junior team members and supporting the Commercial Manager/Project Manager to ensure margins are maintained and risks are managed.Be responsible for management of commercial activities on site: Commercial management for allocated system of works, both main contract and subcontract(s) / suppliers as follows; CEMAR administration Identification and notification of compensation events. Assessment of the effects of compensation events. Ownership of EWN processes, proactive identification and agreement of mitigations Defect notification and close out. Payment assessments, certificates, pay less notices etc in accordance with prescribed timescales. Support of procurement function in supply chain engagement. Proactive identification of opportunities to reduce costs and maximise revenue. Explore and realise such opportunities where practicable. Establish and maintain risk registers recording the identification, assessment and mitigations of risk. Assess potential impact and make provision in reporting.
