At Hays , we are collaborating with a leading international company in the renewable energy sector to find a Grid Code Compliance Engineer.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that wind energy solutions comply with grid code requirements, translating technical regulations into software specifications, validating compliance through testing activities, and working closely with multidisciplinary teams to support the successful integration of renewable energy projects worldwide.

Translate grid code requirements into software specifications, functional requirements, and test cases.

Collaborate with software development teams to ensure compliance requirements are effectively implemented.

Develop and execute test plans for grid code compliance at component, turbine, and wind farm levels.

Analyze test results, identify compliance gaps, and support resolution activities.

Support sales and project teams with technical expertise related to grid connection and compliance topics.

Maintain compliance documentation, test records, and requirement traceability.

Contribute to continuous improvement of grid code compliance processes and methodologies.





5+ years of experience working as a Grid Code Compliance Engineer or similar roles.

~ Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, Control Engineering, or a related field.

~ Experience in requirements engineering, software specification, verification, and validation.

~ Knowledge of wind turbine and wind farm control systems.

~ Familiarity with software development lifecycle, testing methodologies, and quality assurance processes.

~ Accurate and complete software specifications derived from grid code requirements.

Effective test plans and successful execution of compliance validation activities.

Timely identification and resolution of compliance gaps.

Robust documentation and traceability of requirements and testing.

Compliance with regulatory, grid operator, and customer requirements.

Permanent contract through Hays.
