Head of Finance / CFO - Medical Device - Barcelona, Spain €80,000 - €130,000 + 20% bonus | Relocation assistance available We are partnering on a confidential basis with a fast-growing medical technology business in Barcelona to appoint a Head of Finance / CFO. This is a newly confidential search for a hands-on finance leader who will own the full finance function for a c.54-person organisation and act as a genuine strategic partner to the CEO and Board. The role Full ownership of all financial activity across the business, leading and developing a small team (Accounting Technician and Administrative support). Run the day-to-day operational finance function - reporting, budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, controls, audit and compliance. Act as strategic advisor to the CEO, shaping the financial roadmap of the company. Lead preparation and delivery of Board-level reporting and presentations.



Play a central role in an upcoming funding round, supporting investor engagement, due diligence and financial modelling. What we're looking for 15-20 years' finance experience, including time as Head of Finance, Finance Director, Finance Manager or CFO in an SME environment. Medical device or wider life sciences background is idóneo, though strong candidates from other technical, regulated or product-led industries will be considered. Genuinely hands-on - comfortable operating at both strategic and transactional level in a lean team. Experience supporting or leading fundraising, investor relations or corporate finance processes is highly advantageous. Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential. #J-18808-Ljbffr
