In this role you will own the end-to-end transportation and distribution for Ortho, ensuring reliable service and strong logistics performance across markets. You will work closely with couriers, manufacturing sites, customs and local teams to monitor shipments and drive improvements. You’ll help establish scalable governance to support sustainable growth and act as the logistics liaison within the GLD network.

This is a hands-on partner role that bridges strategy and execution to improve delivery and customer satisfaction.

- Own end-to-end transportation and distribution for Ortho from handover to delivery follow-up
- Manage OTIF, lead times, and logistics cost performance via reporting and corrective actions
- Coordinate with Logistics Control Tower to resolve issues with carriers and cross-functional teams
- Handle customs and trade issues with timely documentation and escalation
- Review service provider performance, participate in QBRs, and drive cost and compliance improvements
- Oversee billing, invoicing, claims, and contract terms with couriers and providers
- Lead or support transport setup changes,



new lanes, service model adjustments, and contingency planning
- Strengthen governance, improve KPI visibility, and standardize ways of working for Ortho logistics
- Collaborate with Production, Customer Care, subsidiaries, and wider Ortho network to resolve logistics-related customer issues
- Serve as the connection into the wider GLD organization and align with adjacent supply chain teams while keeping logistics core

Responsabilidades

- Degree in a relevant field and extensive logistics/transportation experience, ideally in an international matrix environment
- Strong xugodme mix of strategic ownership and hands-on execution in carrier management, KPIs, and cross-functional coordination
- Solid exposure to customs, trade, and international shipment flows; courier/express network experience is advantageous
- Proven track record of process improvement, governance, and operational discipline
- Knowledge of international transportation, customs/trade compliance, and distribution processes; project or continuous improvement training is a plus
- Strong Excel skills with comfort using dashboards and shipment visibility tools
