Experteer Overview
As an AI Platform Engineer, you own the runtime and governance backbone used by global Allianz Technology teams. You design, build, and operate the AI platform runtime, covering model routing, caching, RAG services, prompts, and skills management, with a focus on responsible FinOps and safety. You define platform standards, from frameworks to MCP interfaces, and ensure observability, SLOs, and cost efficiency. You collaborate across governance, hyperscalers, and AI frontier labs to shape industry features and roadmaps. This role offers impact at scale, enabling multiple teams to deliver compliant AI use cases.

• Design, build, and operate the AI platform runtime (Kubernetes-based services, gateways, routing) including model routing, caching, shared RAG components, and prompt/skills management
• Provide a plug-and-play surface for teams with integrated AI FinOps, quotas, usage metering, and safety/compliance guardrails
• Define and maintain platform standards (frameworks, SDKs, Spec Kits, MCP interfaces) and manage AI tool lifecycle from sandbox to standardization or retirement
• Implement platform-wide observability (metrics, logs, traces), SLOs, cost/performance instrumentation, and incident response
• Partner with AI Gateway, governance owners, hyperscalers, and regulated industry teams to influence roadmap and features




• Optimize platform scalability, reliability, and cost across regions; drive capacity planning, release automation, and risk recovery

Responsabilidades
• Proven track record building u0026 operating AI or developer platforms at production scale in regulated or large-scale environments
• Hands-on platform builder with enablement mindset and experience shipping platform capabilities used by multiple teams
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native infrastructure (Kubernetes, networking), MLOps/LLMOps stacks, vector databases/embedding stores, routing/caching, and identity/risk management
• Strong software engineering skills (Python/TypeScript/Go), infrastructure as code (Terraform), CI/CD, and SRE practices
• Experience implementing governance, compliance, safety guardrails, and AI FinOps (quotas, budgeting, policy enforcement) at the platform layer
• Pragmatic product sense with vendor evaluation and partnership skills; ability to operate under ambiguity and collaborate across functions
• Fluency in English
• Familiarity with Machine learning is a strong advantage
