Tender & Estimating Engineer

Location: Spain (Ideally Barcelona, Tarragona, Seville) - Hybrid / Remote

Salary: €30k to €40k

Company Overview Our client is a major international infrastructure and engineering organisation delivering large-scale projects across the energy, electrical and telecommunications sectors.

As part of the continued growth of its Energy Division in Spain, the business is expanding its technical and tendering capability to support an increasing pipeline of electrical infrastructure projects.

The company offers the opportunity to work within an established international group while contributing to the continued development of its Spanish energy operations.

The Role We are looking for 2 Tender & Estimating Engineers to join the Estimating and Technical Office team.

You will support the technical and commercial preparation of tenders for electrical infrastructure projects, analysing project requirements, preparing cost estimates and developing competitive technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare budgets and cost estimates using Presto
- Review project specifications, measurements and technical documentation




- Prepare tenders and technical-commercial proposals
- Produce technical reports and supporting documentation
- Obtain and compare supplier and subcontractor quotations
- Review and interpret engineering drawings
- Develop technical alternatives and value-engineering solutions
- Identify opportunities to optimise project costs
- Maintain pricing databases
- Support the Head of Estimating
- Collaborate closely with Procurement and Project Delivery teams

Requirements
- Experience within estimating, tendering or cost preparation
- Degree or technical qualification in Electrical, Industrial or Civil Engineering, Public Works, Construction/Technical Architecture, or a related discipline
- Experience using Presto
- Good Excel skills
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Valid driving licence

Previous experience with electrical installations, substations, power lines, civil works, EV charging infrastructure or renewable energy projects would be highly advantageous. Knowledge of AutoCAD, Power BI, Microsoft Project and technical English is also desirable. xugodme

Salary: €30,000-40,000 depending on experience

Contract: Permanent
