Responsibilities
- Design and build AI agents and their supporting harnesses using Python.
- Build reusable agent capabilities, tools, and integrations connecting AI systems with codebases, engineering systems, internal tools, and organizational knowledge.
- Develop agentic workflows for Engineering, Product, Design, and Data teams across the software development lifecycle.
- Prototype, validate, measure, and scale new AI automation approaches.
- Design context management, orchestration, verification, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms for reliable automation.
- Measure agent usage and value through data and feedback, and continuously improve the systems.
- Identify appropriate uses of AI while preserving essential human judgment.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, product, and data teams to understand workflows, drive adoption, and identify automation opportunities.

Requirements
- Approximately 8 years of experience designing and building complex backend software systems.
- Strong production software engineering experience with Python.




- Hands-on experience building AI agents, agentic workflows, or platforms that enable others to use AI-powered capabilities.
- Strong understanding of context management, tool use, orchestration, and evaluation or verification for agentic AI systems.
- Experience integrating AI systems with APIs, MCPs, internal tools, codebases, and other engineering systems.
- Experience turning experiments or proofs of concept into robust, scalable solutions.
- Ability to work with ambiguity, iterate quickly, and use data and feedback to evaluate results.
- Good understanding of distributed systems and backend architecture for reliable AI-powered systems.
- Strong product thinking and ability to connect technical solutions to measurable outcomes.
- Strong communication skills and minimum C1 English proficiency.
