Job summaryConsultant Rheumatologist We are looking for 1 dynamic and motivated individual to join our Rheumatology Department at Tameside. The hospital team currently consists of 4 consultants, with an expanding specialist pharmacy and nursing team, The department has good links with the University of Manchester and other Rheumatology centres within the North West Deanery and also with Primary Care colleagues locally.This post represents an exciting opportunity to join one of the pioneering integrated care organisations in the country which is transforming the way care is delivered to improve the health of the population it serves. Not only does this post provide exposure to a variety of clinical settings but also the opportunity to be at the core of transforming our services to provide a truly integrated model of health care to our population. The Rheumatology team have been pivotal in some key service transformations within the Trust such as implementing Model A (DMARD) hospital transition, developing an Early Arthritis Pathway,



Giant Cell Arteritis Pathway and initiating a Fracture Liason Service.We are happy to consider applications for full time or part time candidates.
