About the role

We are looking for a Credit Manager to join our Group Treasury team in Madrid. In this role, you will play a key part in managing and strengthening Sulzer's global credit risk framework while supporting strategic treasury initiatives across the organization. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys working in an international environment, leading cross-functional projects, and influencing decision-making at a general level. You will collaborate with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure effective credit risk management, support factoring activities, and contribute to treasury transformation initiatives.
What you will do

Support the establishment and development of the HUB credit risk management team.
Drive the creation of standardized and harmonized credit risk management processes across the organization.




Manage global service contracts related to credit risk management, including relationships with external credit rating agencies and tender processes.
Lead the assessment and design of credit risk management technologies supporting multiple ERP platforms.
Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to define and implement standard SAP credit risk management templates.
Evaluate high-value credit limit requests and provide recommendations to Division CFOs and the Group CFO.
Deliver training and guidance to internal stakeholders on credit risk assessment and banking policies.
Support and further develop the company's global factoring processes.
Manage the global bank account structure and maintain operational banking relationships.
Coordinate access management for centrally controlled bank accounts.
Participate in treasury projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
