Role purpose
Take an active role in and provide technical leadership for the industrialization of Fibtray®, working with machinery and mould manufacturers, other suppliers, and future customers and licensees to take the technology from testing and validation through to industrial-scale production.
This is a highly hands-on role, involving regular time on the factory floor, test follow-up, problem-solving and the development of technical solutions.
Key responsibilities
1. Industrialization and commissioning
•
Coordinate and provide technical oversight of the industrialization of Fibtray®, including trials, machinery installation and commissioning, issue analysis and the implementation of solutions.
•
Support the industrialization phases of future customers and licensees, both in Spain and internationally.
2. Moulds, forming dies and tooling
•
Lead the development, manufacture, validation and implementation of the moulds,
forming dies and tooling required for Fibtray®s different product formats and applications.
•
Work directly with manufacturers and suppliers to define specifications and resolve issues throughout development and commissioning.
3. Products, processes and technical data sheets
•
Define and maintain the technical specifications for Fibtray® products.
•
Carry out and coordinate the testing required to validate products and prepare their technical data sheets.
•
Document process parameters, tolerances, materials, quality controls and test results.
4. New project development
•
Take an active role in and provide technical leadership for new product, material, process and machinery development projects at Fibtray®.
•
Evaluate and test new solutions and technologies that could improve the product or manufacturing process.
5. Materials and barrier solutions
•
Evaluate and test different materials, liners and barrier solutions to determine their compatibility with Fibtray®
