Where You'll Make a Difference
- Lead the day-to-day operations of the Process R&D; laboratories, ensuring a safe, organized, and productive working environment.
- Optimize laboratory organization, space utilization, reagent management, and inventory control to support experimental activities efficiently.
- Ensure the availability of laboratory supplies, shared services, and resources needed for R&D; operations.
- Manage laboratory equipment throughout its lifecycle, including procurement, installation, commissioning, calibration, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, Purchasing, IT, suppliers, and laboratory users to support laboratory capabilities and improvements.
- Oversee laboratory safety practices, documentation, risk assessments, and compliance with applicable standards and procedures.
- Support onboarding and training of new laboratory users, promoting best practices and safe working behaviors.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, sustainability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
- Maintain laboratory records, procedures, and operational documentation to ensure effective laboratory management.
What Makes You the Right Fit
- University degree or advanced vocational qualification in Chemistry, Laboratory Sciences, Chemical Engineering, Analysis & Quality Control, or a related field.
