- Identify, develop, and implement capabilities to enhance customer risk assessments
- Leverage organizational data to derive analytical insights that shape business strategy

- Interact with business partners across all organizational levels throughout the credit risk lifecycle

Requirements

-
- Advanced degree in statistics, economics, mathematics, or equivalent experience in a similar field of study
- Fluent proficiency in Spanish and English
- Experience in developing strategic insights demonstrating data analytics
- Experience in SQL and Python
- Understanding of / experience in credit risk management principles
- Experience in unsecured consumer lending or in the payments industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a matrix environment
- Employment eligibility to work with American Express in Spain is required; the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for these positions
- Successful completion of a background verification check, subject to applicable laws and regu
