JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
The successful candidate must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities:

- Proven senior experience in hotel Groups, Conference & Events, event sales or a closely related commercial role in a high-volume or complex hotel environment.
- Demonstrated ownership of forecasting, pricing and performance analysis, with the ability to interrogate data and explain the commercial meaning clearly.
- Strong understanding of group and event profitability, displacement, demand-based pricing, contracting, deposits, cancellation and attrition principles.
- Proven experience leading, coaching and developing a team, including performance management, recruitment, onboarding and succession planning.
- Credible client-facing presence with strong negotiation, presentation,



written communication and relationship-management skills.
- Ability to influence across Commercial, Revenue and Operations, challenge constructively and make timely decisions under pressure.
- High level of system discipline and confidence using Delphi, OnQ, Microsoft Office
- Spanish mandatory. Professional fluency in English. Additional languages relevant to the hotel’s client base are advantageous.
- Degree or professional qualification in Hospitality, Business, Revenue Management, Events or a related discipline is preferred, or equivalent relevant experience.

QUALIFICATION STANDARDS EDUCATION

- Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field preferred.
- Professional qualifications in Event Management or Hospitality are desirable.
