This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Galileo Systems Engineer to join Europe's flagship space programme, supporting EUSPA with Galileo service transition activities
Position is based in Madrid.
Tasks and Responsibilities
The candidate will support the transition of new Galileo services such as:
European GSC infrastructureHigh-Accuracy Service (HAS)Search and Rescue (SAR)Timing ServiceOSNMAGalileo Contribution to Safety of Life (SoL) ApplicationsEtc.Support Mission definition, Mission consolidation, Service concept preparation, Service design, Service consolidation and service validation activities, and their associated reviews programmatic reviews (MRR, OVR, SCR, SVRR, SVR, TRR, TRB, PTR etc.)Support the conception, preparation, coordination and execution of infrastructure Migration and service migration activities including Plan preparation, Migration rehearsals and testing, preparation and presentation of report, organisation of reviews, amongst other elements.Support the conception, preparation,



coordination and execution of Service Validation campaigns including Plan preparation, preparation and presentation of reports and organisation of reviews.
Essential qualifications and experience
University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science5+ years of experience in Galileo or other space projectsAbility to work in a multicultural teamProficiency level in English, both written and spokenEligible for security clearanceAvailability to travel within Europe
Security
In line with security requirements of the Galileo mission the candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.
This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
The successful candidate will be offered a permanent contract and a very competitive salary package, according to his/her skills and experience.
