Financial Accounting Specialist

to join our Finance team in Barcelona or Frankfurt on a

temporary basis .

Tasks

Your responsibilities
Manage and monitor ongoing accounting activities in accordance with

local GAAP and IFRS , contributing to the development and optimisation of accounting processes across areas such as

Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable,



Fixed Assets, General Ledger and bank accounting .
Advise on and support the resolution of

complex tax matters

in close cooperation with external tax advisors, while contributing to the preparation and optimisation of the tax strategy.
Prepare and review

tax returns

and support the implementation of tax optimisation measures.
Manage and further develop accounting processes across different business areas, including

retail, wholesale, leasing, deposits and cooperation markets , ensuring the implementation of new accounting standards and technologies.
Monitor and control the

end-to-end invoicing process , ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
Support

bank-wide project controlling

and contribute to the successful implementation of finance-related projects.
Analyse, review and continuously improve internal processes, identifying opportunities to increase efficiency and minimise risks.
Lead a
