The role
Swans International School, Marbella, is seeking a dedicated and organised Examinations Officer to join the team on a full-time basis. The Examinations Officer will manage all aspects of the (I)GCSE examination process. The role includes some teaching hours, ideally in the Humanities subjects. Candidates are invited to state which subjects they can offer and to which level.
Key responsibilities
Manage all aspects of the (I)GCSE examination process within the school
Coordinate exam schedules and liaise with examination boards
Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations
Maintain accurate records and documentation
Deliver teaching hours in Humanities subjects as required
Requirements
Minimum qualification of a Diploma or equivalent




At least two years of experience in examination administration or related roles
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills for liaising with staff, students, parents and external bodies
Proficiency in office software and examination management systems
EU passport or Spanish residency
PGCE or equivalent qualification in Education
Clean enhanced Disclosure and Barring Services check
Full five-year reference check
Commitment to integrity and confidentiality regarding exam materials and student information
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
Proactive approach to problem-solving
Team player who supports colleagues across departments
