Overview In this role you will contribute to building scalable backend services for Deel’s global payroll and HR platform. You will work within a cross-functional Engineering team to plan, design, and deliver robust features and APIs that serve customers worldwide. with a focus on quality and scalability * Identify and fix bugs quickly to maintain Deel Speed * Deliver a customer-centric engineering approach to product quality and reliability Requisitos principales * 8+ years of software engineering experience * Backend development with Node.js and TypeScript/JavaScript * Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL query optimization * Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns * Experience designing scalable systems and handling high transaction volumes * API development experience with input validation, JWT, and queue-based architectures * Remote collaboration and proactive communication * Ownership and autonomy balanced with teamwork * Clear communication of complex ideas to diverse stakeholders * Node.js * TypeScript/JavaScript * PostgreSQL
