In this role, you'll design, build and maintain the high‐volume business logic that runs on the mainframe. At the same time you'll play a key role in refactoring legacy code to enable modern cloud and mobile applications to seamlessly interact with the mainframe's core data.
Maintain Performance
-Monitor the architecture and identify opportunities to optimize code to maintain and enhance mainframe performance.
Debug and Test
-As an instrumental player in modernization, you'll extract business logic from legacy systems for migration or integration with cloud‐based services.
Experience working as a software engineer on complex software projects.




Excellent coding skills and solid development experience (Java, Python, .Net etc.) Software development methodologies, with demonstrated experience developing scalable and robust software.
Experienced in relational and NoSQL databases, data mapping, XML/JSON, REST‐based web services.
Knowledge of architecture design - Microservices architecture, containers (Docker & k8s), messaging queues.
Proven knowledge about GitOps and DevOps practices on Container Platforms.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Certification in one or more of the hyperscalers (Azure, AWS, and Google GCP) - otherwise, you can obtain certifications with Kyndryl.
Experience with DevOps tools and modern engineering practices.
Spanish native, fluent English.
