We're looking for a z/OS System Programmer to join our GIS team in the EU (remote/distributed). What you'll do:
Install, configure and maintain z/OS and its associated software components
Execute builds, migrations, refresh, CPU swaps and LPAR build/decommission projects
Provide 24x7 on‐call support and participate in disaster recovery drills
Manage security profiles, access control and I/O configuration
Analyze system performance using SMF data




Maintain technical documentation and knowledge base articles
Lead and mentor a remote team distributed across several EU countries
What we're looking for:
~8+ years in z/OS system programming
~ Strong command of z/OS architecture, system commands, utilities and troubleshooting
~ Experience with system management tools and automation
~ Good level of English
~ Leadership, communication and problem‐solving skills
~ Nice to have: z/OS certification or related field
~ Experience with JES, IMS, CICS
~ Knowledge of REXX or COBOL
~ Experience with cloud‐based mainframe environments
