In this role, you will lead complex Java-based development within the Customer eXperience team to deliver scalable, high-quality software. You will guide peers, shape architecture, and drive technical improvements that impact travellers using Prime and related platforms. The position combines hands-on engineering with mentoring and cross-functional collaboration in a hybrid Madrid/Barcelona setting. You’ll work on maintainable systems, testability, and timely delivery, while continuously expanding your skills and contributing to a data-driven, innovative travel ecosystem.

Responsabilidades
Provide technical guidance for complex initiatives and deliver strategic improvements
Improve code structure, architecture, testability, and maintainability
Deliver high-complexity projects with multiple stakeholders and manage timeline risks
Lead code and architecture reviews and mentor junior engineers




Communicate complex technical ideas to both technical and business stakeholders
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on objectives and solutions
Continuously expand skills through learning and knowledge sharing
Mentor and coach team members to grow technically
Requisitos principales
Deep understanding of OOP, functional programming, concurrency, data structures, design and architecture patterns
Experience across the full software development lifecycle including production deployments, testing (unit/integration), and Cloud/CI/CD environments
Strong data-driven analytics, xqbhyrx design pattern skills, and creative problem solving
Excellent communication and stakeholder alignment abilities
Ability to visually represent solutions with standard diagrams for diverse audiences
Strong organizational skills to manage deadlines in uncertain contexts
Fluent English in a multicultural environment
