About the role:
As a Specialties Responsible, you will take ownership of the performance, efficiency and continuous improvement of a dedicated production area.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a team of up to 20 employees while driving operational excellence, safety, quality and productivity.
This is a key leadership role for someone who combines strong manufacturing expertise with a hands-on leadership style. You will act as the owner of your production cell, ensuring that business priorities, operational performance and people development are aligned with Barry Callebaut's goals.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead by example in safety, GMP, housekeeping and operational decision-making.
- Ensure high standards are consistently maintained across the production area.
- Identify and eliminate unsafe conditions and behaviors.
- Uphold equipment standards and ensure compliance with quality and operational requirements.
