We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our Antimicrobial Therapy team at Hull University Teaching Hospitals as an Advanced Clinical Pharmacist.You will provide the specialist antimicrobial therapy pharmacy service to a variety of areas, within a Pharmacy Department that provides a supportive environment for professional development with a range of experienced and specialist senior pharmacists.Main duties of the jobWhilst providing a clinical pharmacy service you will be expected to offer advice to medical, nursing, other healthcare staff and patients on all aspects of the safe & effective use of medicines.This includes facilitating reconciliation, prescribing advice, discharge planning and patient counselling and supporting clinical trials process. Prescribing to support medicines safety,



effectiveness and discharge flow will also be expected for pharmacists working at Advanced Level.The pharmacy team has a wide range of qualified staff including technicians and assistants who will assist you in your day-to-day role.Theteam is both ambitious and motivated, focusing our work around the best interests of our patients and continually striving to improve the services we offer.
