About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced and results-oriented Distribution Center Supervisor to manage their operations remotely, supporting their facility in Queenstown, Eastern Cape. This role requires a leader capable of overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, while managing a team and ensuring adherence to safety and productivity standards. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, improving efficiency, and maintaining a high level of accuracy from a remote setting. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse management and strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse staff, ensuring operational efficiency and productivity.
- Manage receiving, warehousing, distribution, and maintenance operations, optimizing workflow and space utilization.
- Implement and enforce strict safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring accuracy and implementing measures to reduce discrepancies.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse team members,



fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management and other departments to align operational goals with company objectives.

Requirements

- Minimum of 4 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics principles.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and relevant software.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and improve operational performance in a remote supervisory capacity.
