KL Talent Solutions is recruiting for an established North East engineering and manufacturing business looking for an experiencedB2B Business Development Managerto drive sustainable, profitable growth.
This is aface-to-face business development role. We're looking for someone who gets out into the market, opens doors, builds strong relationships and turns those relationships into long-term business.
Importantly, this isn't about winning work by being the cheapest.

The RoleYou'll take ownership of developing new business while growing opportunities within existing accounts, including:
- Building, managing, and converting a strong sales pipeline, with year-on-year growth
- Identifying and targeting new B2B customers across engineering, manufacturing, construction and associated industrial markets




- Gettingface-to-face with key decision-makersacross engineering, procurement, commercial and senior management
- Opening new accounts and developing existing customer relationships
- Identifying opportunities before they reach formal RFQ or tender stage
- Working closely with estimating and operational teams through RFQ, quotation, negotiation and order
- Understanding customer specifications, quality standards and compliance requirements
- Selling onquality, compliance and capability not price reduction
- Maintaining an accurate, qualified pipeline and focusing on commercially worthwhile opportunities
- Delivering profitable revenue and increasing account value year on year

About YouYou'll have proven B2B sales or business development experience withinengineering, manufacturing, fabrication, subcontract manufacturing or a similar technical environment.
You'll be commercially switched on, comfortable in a tech
