Team Leader - Construction
Rate: £130 per day (self-employed) plus bonus
Location: Area-based (field role) - The area covered will be Reading, Southampton, Chichester, Brighton and the South Coast
Hours: Full-time
Reports To: Area Field Operations Manager / Support Office

About the Role
Want to lead on site and build a career while you're at it This is a hands-on, boots-on-the-ground Team Leader role and the first step on the ladder to becoming a manager.



You'll be out on live construction sites running the show, leading teams of subcontractors and employees, keeping every offload safe, sharp and on schedule, and setting the standard others follow. It's fast-paced, physical and no two days are the same. If you've got a solid grounding in site working, a natural way of leading people, and the ambition to progress, our client wants to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
Work Allocation:
- Liaise with customers as required.

Supervisory:
- Lead teams of subcontractors and employees on site in a fast-paced environment.
- Conduct construction site audits.
- Conduct vehicle audits.
- Prepare in advance for allocated work (e.g. site visits, Google Maps, contacting Site Managers and Drivers).
- React to and remedy construction site issues during vehicle unloading.
- Ensure sufficient resources are in place for allocated work, managing sickness and absence.
