Job Title: Specification Sales Manager Building Automation

Area to be covered: National one day per week in the office (South East)
Remuneration: £65,000 + 10-15% bonus year one, £6 figure OTE year two

The role of the Specification Sales Manager Building Automation will involve:
Field sales position promoting a manufactured range of building and home automation
National role, you will spend 4 days per week out on the road in front of customers, one day working from our clients South East based office, making calls and setting appointments
50% of the role will focus on developing relations with MEP consultants and M&E; consultants
Remaining 50% developing relationships with M&E; contractors




You will inherit a project pipeline of circa £3.5m and will be expected to grow this to £5m in your first year
No revenue target in the first 6 months, then £500k and £1m in the following year
Circa 70% of your revenue will come via approx. 1000 installer partner relationships, 30% from your own network and business development activity
The adecuado applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager Building Automation with:
Must have specification field sales experience
Knowledge of smart homes, home Automation or building automation is not required
Open to most HVAC, Lighting, building services and other associated electrical field sales backgrounds
Network of contacts within MEP consultants, M&E; consultants and M&E; contractors would be advantageous
Must be comfortable with one day a week on the phone in the office
IT Literate
Tonnes of drive, will suit someone on the up in the career
