The Senior Engineering Manager is responsible for building and scaling a high-performing engineering organization that enables the successful delivery of the strategic objectives for our Property Management Platform. Acting as a manager of managers , this role leads multiple Engineering Managers, shapes the organizational structure, drives hiring and talent development, and establishes clear ownership and accountability across engineering teams.
your_responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Engineering Manager layer by hiring, coaching and developing Engineering Managers, establishing clear career pathways and ensuring consistent people leadership across the Valencia site.
- Own the development operating system around the subdomain within the matrix organization, including team health, staffing, delivery flow, engineering capability,



escalation management and adoption of agreed development standards.
- Lead Engineering delivery from committed scope through production readiness by coordinating cross-team dependencies, removing impediments and maintaining reliable release execution.
- Ensure that engineering teams can execute the agreed technical direction by translating technical requirements into staffing, sequencing, capability and delivery actions.
- Build a scalable and reusable product together with Product, Domain and Tech Lead, enabling future use cases and reducing duplicated implementation effort.
- Ensure that Engineering teams implement agreed requirements for reliability, performance, security, auditability and operational readiness in collaboration with Tech Lead, QA, Operations, Security, Architecture and Compliance.
- Represent the Cofa Chapter engineering perspective in Subdomain, Teilportfolio and leadership discussions, contributing delivery risks, staffing
