An opportunity for a *Structural Analysis Software Developer* has arisen within Airbus Operations, Getafe (Madrid).
The selected candidate will join the *Structural Analysis Methods & Tools Team*. Our department is in charge of defining and developing both the current run-mode and the future Structural Analysis Tools (ISAMI) used for the sizing and certification of series and next-generation Airbus products.
The team is multicultural, fully transnational, and operates in a integral, collaborative environment. The jobholder will reinforce our engineering digitalization capabilities, combining advanced coding skills with airframe structural knowledge to address key challenges in data continuity, lead time, and next-gen simulation frameworks.
*Design and develop* the next-generation simulation platform (Advanced C++ framework), including GUI, transverse services, and multidisciplinary capabilities (FEM pre/postprocessing, surrogate models, AI).
- *Code and implement* specific capabilities within the Stress Solver Repository using Modern C++ and Python.




- *Automate* structural analysis processes into ISAMI in alignment with the Airframe Engineering digital strategy.
- *Maintain and optimize* existing methods and tools applied to current Airbus programs, ensuring performance improvements and business continuity.
- *Define* new sizing and optimization methods to set the standard for future development processes, securing data consistency across the lifecycle.
- *Supervise* and validate sub-contracted software development activities.

*Education:* Aeronautical, Aerospace, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science degree, or a related discipline.
- *Experience:* Proven experience in Software Engineering/Architecture with a solid foundation or interest in structural/stress analysis.
- *Expertise in Modern C++ (C++20 and above) and Python; strong capability in Software Architecture and OOP; Languages:* Advanced level in English (written and spoken).
